Nightheart is a band. Sort of. Every year, we get together and create an all original Christmas album. Every year, snow or shine.

Sure, we used to be a regular non-holiday type band and we were pretty good at it too. We'd haul our heavy amps downtown and wear cool shirts and get free beer in the green room. We'd make the people dance and scream, and we'd make a couple hundred bucks here and there. But after a while, we noticed that a bunch of other bands with heavier amps and cooler shirts were doing the same thing. One thing we didn't see many people doing, however, was writing and recording a set of original Christmas songs every year, a tradition we had started somewhere along the way. So we quit playing out in order to focus on the crafting of holiday cheer and haven't looked back since.

Nightheart is Mark, Jay, Ben, and Dave: four distinct singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalists. Every year, we each bring a few new tunes in to the studio and let the other guys spice 'em up with riffs and background vocals. We have a blast doing it, and we think you'll enjoy listening.
